Our Foundational Family of Cannabinoids

CBC

Cannabichromene- is non-psychoactive and does not affect the psychoactivity of THC. CBC is the second most prevalent cannabinoid found in hemp.

CBD

Cannabidiol- is non-psychotropic. CBD is the most prevalent cannabinoid found in hemp. CBD has been used to treat epilepsy, and shown neuroprotective, antiepileptic, hypoxia-ischemia, anxiolytic, antipsychotic, analgesic, anti-inflammatory, anti-asthmatic, and antitumor properties.

CBG

Cannabigerol- is non-psychoactive. CBG is quickly converted to other cannabinoids through natural processes that occur within the cannabis plant, in general, most mature cannabis plants contain less than 1% CBG.

CBN

Cannabinol- is the primary product of THC degradation, and there is usually little of it in a fresh plant. CBN increases as THC degrades in storage and with exposure to light and air. It is only mildly psychoactive.
Other Key Cannabinoids

There are over 100 different kinds of cannabinoids in the Hemp plant. TruIQ will continues to research and develop products utilizing not only the best targeted cannabinoids for the solution, but other terpenes and flavonoids to deliver high quality, solution-targeted products

  • CBDV– Canabidivarin: A homolog of cannabidiol (CBD) that has been reported to have powerful anti-convulsive effects.
  • CBL– Cannabicyclol: CBL is known to occur as a degradation product of CBC.
  • CBE– Cannabielsoin: CBE forms from CBD during the metabolic process, so it is a metabolite.
  • CBGV– Cannabigerivarin: The propyl homologue of cannabigerol (CBG), CBGV has been shown to be holding great potential for treating cancer, was shown to be cytostatic in leukaemic cells and caused a simultaneous arrest at all phases of the cell cycle.
  • THC– Delta 9 Tetrahydrocannabinol: Is the primary psychoactive component of the cannabis plant. This is the principle cannabinoid in marijuana that causes the psychoactive feeling of being “high”.  Non of our products have measurable amounts of THC.
  • THCV– Tetrahydrocannabivarin: A non-psychoactive and regulator of various key phytocannabinoids.

Benefits Of Using Broad Spectrum Hemp

Have you ever heard of the endocannabinoid system (ECS)? The ECS was discovered in the 1990’s. This discovery taught us that cannabinoids work by binding themselves to neuro cannabinoid receptors. This receptor effects in large part your experiences with pain, adrenaline, appetite, memory, inflammation, just to name a few.  Different cannabinoids in Broad Spectrum Hemp such as CBD, CBG and 141 others (THC is removed) affect these receptors in a positive way.

Helps Treat Pediatric Seizures

There are different strains of hemp meant for different purposes. The Charlotte’s Web strain was developed with the specific purpose to help treat pediatric seizures with an unknown cause. In one study of the New England Journal, CBD specifically decreased frequency of seizures by 23% over those taking the placebo with no side effects.

Reduces Anxiety and Depression

CBD specifically being found naturally occurring in Full Spectrum Hemp has been shown to reduce levels of stress and anxiety in people suffering from aliments  such as PTSD, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder and Chronic Anxiety.  CBD also has an effect on the neuro-receptors that generally control mood. These are the same receptors that register runners-high and offset the pain to make it an enjoyable experience. This same type of effect can happen in the body due to CBD assisting in any treatment approach one may be taking to beat depression.

Improves Relief for Chronic Pain

There is currently a large movement in the medical community to use CBD as an assisted treatment to chronic pain due to the opiod epidemic. This is pushing cannibinoids into the spotlight as a less invasive and addictive alternative form of pain relief. CBD interacts with receptors for the immune system and this interaction creates a pain relief effect.

Reduces Inflammation

The CDC currently states that over a million Americans suffer from Arthritis. By definition arthritis is the inflammation of joints. There are currently over types of arthritis and other types of conditions. In a study done by Dr. Sheng-Ming Dai, it was found that the CB2 receptors of the ECS are found in unusually high volume in the joint tissue of arthritis patients.

The Arthritis Society is currently funding grants to further research the relationships between cannabinoids and joint pain.

Reduces Oxidative Stress

Oxidative Stress is when the body cannot properly clean out Free Radicals using antioxidants to neutralizing them. This is an ever increasing issue due to the toxic environments we live in. Free radicals are known in majority for causing cancer but are responsible for many day to day ailments people suffer from.

University studies done in rats showed that cannabinoids reduced levels of Oxidative Stress in peripheral organs and in the brain thus improving cognitive function and decreasing mortality rate.

Promotes Heart Health

Heart related issues are currently the number 1 cause of death for Men and Women in the US. While diet and lifestyle changes are the most imperative to Controlling or preventing Heart Disease, CBD has shown in studies to reduce artery blockage, protect against artery damage and to improve blood flow.
